About NSGH

Association for global health professionals, focusing on equal access to care, in the Netherlands and worldwide. We connect through science, education, advocacy and a strong network.

History

The Netherlands' Society for Global Health was founded in 1907. For more than 100 years, the NSGH has been committed to improving healthcare in low- and middle-income countries. In this context, the NSGH supports and stimulates research, provides education and promotes the exchange of expertise and knowledge in tropical medicine and international health. The NSGH also contributes to Dutch healthcare in the light of global health.

Our mission

The Association makes a positive contribution to global health and healthcare in the Netherlands and worldwide. We do this by providing a platform for global health professionals working, and by promoting research and education in this field. We also make our voice heard where human rights and access to quality health care are hindered.
